Martimar is a leading fruit and vegetables distributor in the south of Spain, with more than 50 years of experience. We specialise in ripening “Plátano de Canarias” bananas, and we distribute 100% fruit and vegetables references with more than 35 countries of origin, always looking for the best produce and trying to supply our discerning and diverse customers during the whole year.

With entirely national and family capital, we look for excellence, holding the belief that only work and continuous improvement are the way to go. At the core of all this is the commitment with our customers and suppliers.

Our desire to improve has let us evolve as a company, going from being a fruit wholesaler to a services company that sells fresh produce. Martimar is Service. For that purpose, we have a wide selection of produce, type of packaging and qualities, and we offer a flexible and personalised service 24/365, thus achieving the highest satisfaction of all those who work with us. Besides, we optimise profitability for all parties and we look for the achievement of our common aims.

Guided by an excellent multidisciplinary team with more than 100 people, we are currently distributing goods throughout Spain and Portugal, to wholesaler and retail customers, to large-scale distribution and HORECA channel. We have headquarters available in Mercasevilla and Mercamálaga, from where we commercialise our fresh produce daily. We also own estates and packaging plants in Gran Canaria and Tenerife (together with the Pérez-Abreu family in the last case).
